COVID-19 & Telemedicine

COVID-19 Information and Visitor Restrictions:

Here at Noblesville Urgent Care, we are still committed to providing excellent care. All visitors to our facility must wear a mask. If you do not have one, we can provide one to you.  However, we are limiting the number of visitors to just the ill person that needs to be seen, unless they are a minor and we are asking for only one parent to attend this visit with the minor.

For safety of patients and staff, patients desiring or requiring COVID-19 testing must schedule an appointment before arriving to clinic AND read the following instructions on “VISIT OUR FACILITY” and “Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Testing”.  To schedule an appointment, please call (317) 678-6402 and talk with a staff during clinic hours.

We are not allowed by CDC or ISDH to give any medical advice over the phone including answering questions regarding COVID-19 and tests.  If you have any question about COVID-19 and tests, please check with CDC (Center for Diseases Control) and ISDH (Indiana State Department of Health) websites for the most up-to-date information on COVID-19 and tests.  ISDH’s COVID-19 hotline is 877-826-0011 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily).  ISDH’s COVID-19 website is https://www.coronavirus.in.gov/

For non-COVID-19 patients, we are still seeing patients on a walk-in first come first serve basis. Please review our instructions on how to visit our facility.

Patient Registration Form

We reserve the right at anytime to stop seeing and testing patients if we have reached too high a demand for the day that we cannot maintain the safety of patients and staff including when patients are not complying with ISDH’s mandates of social distancing and wearing masks.

Testing supplies are limited.  We are required by Quidel, CDC, and ISDH to give testing priority to healthcare workers and first responders.  We reserve the right to determine who get tested.

Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Testing

Rapid COVID-19 Antigen testing is only being performed as a part of an urgent care visit.  When you are seen by one of our providers they can determine if a COVID-19 anterior nares swab is needed.  We will bill your health insurance for the urgent care visit AND the test, but we cannot guarantee payment by your health insurance.  Please check with your health insurance company directly.  Anything not paid by your health insurance will be bill to you.  However, those who do not have health insurance (self-pay) will incur the following costs for the test in addition to the clinic visit fee through Fee-For-Service (FFS) program.

Sofia 2 SARS Antigen FIA [CPT 87426] – $100

Rapid COVID-19 Antigen testing has not been approved by the FDA.  Because there are currently no FDA-approved tests, the FDA has authorized certain tests under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) if they meet certain criteria.

We are currently using the Sofia 2 SARS Antigen FIA test, which has been authorized by the FDA under the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for use by authorized laboratories and providers.

Fact sheet for the test for the Sofia 2 SARS Antigen FIA test is below.
